As a digital journalist, Winston Sih spends countless hours making sense of what can be an all-too-confusing 21st century. From what started as guest appearances on a Toronto tech television show, Winston can now be seen on television daily.
Winston is currently the Correspondent & Coordinating Producer, Digital, for City television stations across Canada. He is an on-air correspondent for the network’s in-house productions where he can be seen reporting on the latest tech and social news. Winston can also be seen producing content and developing strategy for City’s digital properties including Breakfast Television, Cityline, CityNews and Entertainment City.
He is the technology expert for the nationally acclaimed Cityline television show—Canada’s longest-running and most successful daytime lifestyle program.
Prior to his current role, Winston was seen reporting on a wide range of topics for App Central (CTV, BNN, and CP24), as well as hosting Butterscotch TV’s 60-Second App show—a one-minute look at the Internet’s finest smartphone apps.
Other media appearances have included CTV, CP24, CBC, BNN, CityNews, 680News, and CBC Radio. Past publications have included the Toronto Star, The Huffington Post, The Globe and Mail, Sympatico, Walmart Live Better, among others.
He specializes in developing digital business strategy, technology trends, and often acts as a spokesperson for various tech and consumer brands. Winston is a speaker, versed in a wide spectrum of audiences from students to small businesses.
Winston studied journalism at Ryerson University and is a proud Canadian. He currently lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
