Winston Sih is a freelance multi-platform journalist and television host specializing in technology, digital media, and travel. Sih works with a variety of clients as a media consultant specializing in local news and is a journalism and media lecturer at The Creative School at Toronto Metropolitan University. He can also be seen contributing to a variety of media outlets including Citytv, CTV News, Yahoo!, and MoneySense.

From breaking news to entertainment, technology news and what’s trending, Sih was known as a daily television host for Breakfast Television, digital correspondent for CityNews, and Coordinating Producer, Digital, for Citytv—helping develop and bolster the network’s digital strategy. 

He specializes in strategic partnerships with leading consumer brands, event hosting, speaking, and digital strategy consulting. Sih’s work has been broadcast across North America, including Citytv, CTV, CBC, CP24, BNN Bloomberg, 680 NewsRadio Toronto, Toronto Star, and The Globe and Mail.

Sih holds a Master of Arts in Media Production and Bachelor of Journalism, both from Toronto Metropolitan University, and his areas of research include the sustainability of local newsrooms, business models in local television, and forging a digital future for hyperlocal content.

He is a proud Canadian and currently lives in Toronto, Canada.
