Lots of natural light provide openness and space for individuals to explore while they wait for their flights.

The airport has consolidated security and TSA, with room to expand as the airport needs grow to accommodate more passenger flow.

One main concourse will house many popular concessions from local fare from Cafe du Monde through Dooky Chase, and more popular chains like Shake Shack.

Passengers will need to use a new exit off the I-10, with the following directions leading cars to the terminal:
– Exit I-10 at Exit 221: Loyola Drive
– Cross over Veterans Boulevard
– Proceed on the new dedicated Airport roadway
– Once on airport roadways, follow signage to the appropriate location.

Tips from airport officials as individuals travel in and out of the new terminal:

Arrive Early. It is recommended that passengers arrive at least two hours prior to their scheduled departure to ensure enough time for parking, checking in, and getting to your gate. Arriving to the new terminal will be new for everyone. Use driving directions below.

More Parking Spaces & Amenities. The new terminal has four parking options with more than 8,000 parking spaces. This is 2,000 more than spaces than at the current terminal. Real-time data on our website and dynamic signage on I-10 will help you decide where to park showing what parking garages are open. Our parking garages are equipped with Park Assist, which decreases the time it takes to find a parking spot and helps passengers get to their flight faster. Park Assist gives passengers a visual queue to alert them where one or more spaces are available. More details below.

Get through the terminal as easy as 3, 2, 1. Finding your way around the new terminal is easy as 3, 2, 1. Check-in and ticketing is located on Level 3. Security and concourses are located on Level 2. Once you get through security, take a right to Concourse A or B or a left to Concourse C. On your way back, retrieve your bags or catch a ride from Baggage Claim on Level 1. After Nov. 6, use the interactive map on our website (www.flymsy.com) to search for a location or amenity to get point-to-point directions throughout the terminal, so you’ll never get lost.

Enjoy your trip. The new terminal means new amenities for passengers like water bottle filling stations, in-seat charging ports, and new restaurants and shops. More than 40 restaurants and shops are available post-security for passengers to enjoy.
