Most people would agree with me when I say that I live a pretty busy and stressful life. I do a lot of work as well as being a student, so waking up on time in the morning is a big deal to me. This is the same case with many other people, and there are great apps to help you wake up in the morning!
In this week’s App Central, I talked about three main apps, here they are listed below:
iHome+Sleep – FREE – iTunes App Store – iPad
This application integrates with your iHome alarm clock units. Overall, it’s a wonderful consumer docking system! It works on the go, or docked into your iHome unit — so it gives you the ultimate all-in-one alarm clock experience. It can trigger radio, device alarm clock settings, time sync with your iPad, and even various Internet radio stations from all around the world. It uses your iHome dock as a speaker for your iPod music, and my favourite feature: it downloads your weather forecasts. Everything one can ask for when waking up!
Sleep Cycle – $0.99 – iTunes App Store – iPhone
This application takes your alarm clock experience to a whole new level. It is personalized to your sleep patterns, allowing you to take your first few night’s sleep to analyze your sleep patterns through the accelerometer. It measures your movements throughout the night, and after, it shows you on a graph so you can see your deepest/lightest sleep moments!
Radio Alarm Clock Free – FREE – iTunes App Store – iPhone
Lastly, this app wins the award for the best interface! It has a fun and elegant settings panel, with button switches for alarm, radio, and sleep! The application’s “Sleep mode” has a wide range of soothing sounds to help you fall asleep. Like “iHome + Sleep,” you can choose between an online radio station, MP3 tracks, or cool alarm clock sounds from within their app! Overall, it’s easy to use, and easily customizable so you can make the app your own.
