Taking a vacation will help you live longer: study

Taking your earned time-off from work will help you live longer, according to a new study.

The new study released from the The European Society of Cardiology measured over 1,200 men for 40 years and showed the key to a healthy life is to use up your vacation days.

Individuals who forfeited time off had a 37 per cent greater chance of dying, compared to those who took vacation.

Cardiologists who studied patterns found men who were workaholics slept less and worked more, elevating stress and diminishing cardiac wellness.

In the U.S. over half of Americans left vacation days behind, impacting health and wellness.
