You can order Uber Eats to your gate at Toronto Pearson for a limited time

In an interesting partnership, Uber Eats and Toronto Pearson International Airport are testing a gate delivery service for those who are in a rush and need a bite.

The pilot will allow users to order HMSHost restaurants inside Toronto’s Terminal 3, international and domestic departures (Caplansky’s Deli, Paramount Fine Foods, Smoke’s Burritorie, Smashburger, Fionn MacCools, etc.) for delivery to gates B22-B41 and C30-C36.

“Toronto Pearson was voted by passengers as the Best Large Airport in North America as part of Airports Council International’s Airport Service Quality program,” said Scott Collier, Vice President, Customer and Terminal Services at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority. “We couldn’t be more excited to pilot this innovative offering for International and Domestic passengers in Terminal 3.”

Users will log onto their Uber Eats app, select the restaurant, their gate, pay, and within minutes, food will be delivered.

It will run to the third quarter of 2019, where the pilot will be reevaluated.
