McDonald’s to offer popular international menu items in U.S.

It’s a ritual for many when travelling—stopping by the McDonald’s to try the regional offerings. Often, travellers are delighted by the items they find.

Well, you no longer need a passport to sample the menu items. That is, if you’re in the United States.

The Business Insider is reporting that the chain will be offering a selection of its most popular items around the world in the United States, and it will happen as early as this summer.

Among the items include cheesy bacon fries from Australia, the “Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger” from Spain, and even Canada’s tomato mozzarella chicken sandwich will make an appearance south of the border. Lastly, from the Netherlands is the Stroopwafel McFlurry—Mmm!

These menu items are successful candidates from a test in Florida last year.
