LCBO shoppers can rejoice as they now have a new way to earn points on purchases at the retailer.
Starting Nov. 16, customers can earn one Aeroplan point for every $4, along with bonus points on select items.
The multi-year agreement was announced earlier this year brings that allows shoppers the ability to earn Aeroplan points on thousands of eligible purchases, including redeeming points for LCBO gift cards on the Aeroplan eStore.
Aeroplan points can be redeemed for travel to more than 1,300 destinations across the globe, as well as for hotels, car rentals, and merchandise, including LCBO Gift Cards starting at just 1,000 Aeroplan points for a $10 LCBO gift card.
Aeroplan says that as a special launch offer, LCBO customers who are not members can join Aeroplan through Nov. 28 and earn 250 bonus points on their first LCBO retail store purchase. New and existing members who spend $50 or more at an LCBO retail store through Nov. 28 will earn 2x the base points on their first purchase (i.e., 2 Aeroplan points for every $4 spent at an LCBO retail store).
LCBO previously ended their loyalty partnership with AIR MILES, with rumours of a new loyalty program or partnership like Aeroplan.
