WestJet’s discount wing is launching a daily seasonal flight to compete with Air Canada on a route they launched last year.
WestJet Encore will add daily flights between Montreal and London starting June 24 through Oct. 15.
“We continue to see robust use of our service between Montreal and Toronto and are aware that many of these guests travel to and from London,” said WestJet Vice-President Network Planning and Alliances Brian Znotins. “We are certain WestJet guests from Montreal and London will enjoy more convenient access to these popular leisure and business markets during the busy summer travel season.”
The departing flight will leave London at 10:20 a.m. to arrive in Montreal at 11:45 a.m., returning back from Montreal at 12:15 p.m., arriving at 1:49 p.m.
This, as Air Canada recently launched a seasonal flight between Calgary and London, Ont. Yet another great sign of growth for southwestern Ontario.
