For a second year in a row, Toronto’s largest airport has won Best Large Airport in North America.
The honour by the Airport Service Quality Awards, and organized by the Airports Council International, recognized Toronto for its customer service in an airport servicing over 40 million passengers each year.
“This achievement is possible thanks to the collaboration and innovation of the 50,000 airport colleagues and partners who made a commitment to creating a better airport experience for our passengers and who continue to work every day to bring that vision to life,” said Howard Eng, president and CEO of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority.
Improvements have included ambiance improvements, new food and retail options, overhauling of security areas, new digital experiences, and faster ride-sharing offerings. Faster Wi-Fi internet was also installed in the terminals.
Toronto Pearson also won most improved airport in North America.
