Delta to cut back seat recline

In a move that won’t be popular with customers, one of America’s largest airlines is cutting back the recline of their seats.

Seats on 62 of Delta’s Airbus A320 aircrafts will see economy seats reduce from four inches to two inches, and first class will reduce to 3.5 inches from 5.5 inches.

Delta says they are testing this change to “make multitasking easier” and to “protect customers’ personal space.”

The airline says this is not a move to add rows or additional seats. Delta also says they will seek customer feedback to see if they will roll out these changes across other aircrafts within their fleet.

There are no plans to roll these changes across international flights.
